The gerund is a verb with adverbial value.
No adjective or noun has value, as it has in other languages (including
English).
Along with the participle and the infinitive is one of the personal forms of the
verb.
The gerund must meet three conditions for its use is correct:
A) function as an adverb (circumstantial) or a verb;
B) express simultaneous action or before the main verb;
C) the subject s gerund is the same as that of the main verb or have a proper
subject.
With physical perception verbs the subject may be the direct object
of the main verb:
