URALCHEM has become the largest Russian producer of ammonia
Moscow - February 12, 2013.
In 2012, URALCHEM became the largest Russian producer of
ammonia.
The supporting data was published in the annual report of the Russian Scientific Research
and Design Institute of Nitrogen and Organic Synthesis Industry (GIAP).
In 2012, the Company
manufactured a total of 2,781,877 tons of ammonia, which was 3% higher than in 20111.
In 2012, URALCHEM increased the production of most of its main commodity products.
The total
output reached 6.
024 million tons, up 2% from the previous year.
The production of diammonium
phosphate (DAP) grew by 64%.
The production of complex fertilizers (NPK) increased by 8%.
The
production of ammonia and urea grew by 7% and 5% respectively.
