ACTIVITY 5 Where do we come from? MONTH March-Mid April DEADLINE Mid April OBJECTIVE Finding our roots/origins.Promoting advantages of differences among people. DESCRIPTION Research on children’s ancestors: where do they come from? why did they move? in what year did they move? Draw your personal map. Are those movements related to any crises or war? Each child will draw a family tree with the origin of each member of his/her family from the great-grandparents until the children. Children discuss advantages of differences between people with various origins.
