ACTIVITY 6 School visiting - Greece MONTH 13th 19th May 2018 OBJECTIVE Doing teaching-learning activities provides the project with: - A more meaningful teaching-learning process because children interact and see the necessity to use English to communicate. - The awareness of the reality from a very close point of view. - Chances to make children aware of the importance of developing an active role to make our world better. - A more direct impact on our study subjects. - More opportunities to develop cooperative abilities, one of the aims of our project. DESCRIPTION Day 1 The guests will arrive at our school where we’ll welcome them with certain activities. The guest and host students will make wall paintings in the classrooms which will represent scenes from a refugee camp the way they imagine it, and they will make collages. They will paint and describe their favourite refuge character. Those paintings will be taken with them the next day when they visit the real camp. In the schooly Less
