Community leaders in Chorleywood
have come together to demand action is
taken to solve the longstanding flooding
problem on Green Street in the village.
With much of the county battered by
strong winds and heavy rain, Green Street
inevitably hit the headlines once again.
Research carried out by the Chorleywood
Residents Association (CRA) shows
that the road has been closed for a total
of 71 days over the last three years.
The CRA said that the problem was
so bad recently, the dip closest to the
junction of Orchard Drive flooded so badly
that the road was impassable to both...
