Simon Thompson, 52, strangled daughter Rebecca on June 21 and later drove his VW Golf into Elstree Hill roundabout at 90mph. Sacred Heart pupil Rebecca, who was due to go to secondary school in September, was found by her distraught mother the following afternoon at her home address on Homefield Road.
