Tragedy struck the village last
month when a schoolgirl was
sadly found dead at her home.
Fifteen-year-old Jessica Cobb was
discovered in a property on Gable
Close on the morning of Wednesday,
January 16.
Police were called to her home at

30am and the teenager, who
attended St Michael’s Catholic High
School in High Elms Lane, was sadly
pronounced dead at the scene.
Touching tributes have flooded in
for Jessica, whose friends and family
have described her as a “beautiful
angel.
”
Many mourners have used an
online Facebook page as a tribute to
the teen.
The page has received nearly
