The unsung heroes of Abbots Langley
wererecognisedfortheircontribution
to the community last month.
The village’s first Community
Showcase took place at Tanners Wood
Hall alongside the Annual Parish Meeting.
Inspirational locals were also recognised
with Civic Awards at the event.
It was an opportunity for villagers to
meet councillors, better understand
the work of the parish council and
engage with local organisations.
Eighteen groups representing the
performing arts, sports, gardening and
other activities were represented in the
showcase and informed guests of their
involvement in the community.
