GOINGPROKICKBOXER AIMS FOR PROFESSIONAL CAREER AFTER WINNING TITLE
An Abbots Langley kickboxer has set his
sights on a professional fighting career
after winning his first British title.
Shane Bernhauser, 24, became the
IKF British welterweight champion on
June 25 after he despatched George
Downey during a bruising five round
encounter held at Liquid/Envy, Luton.
Now the village scaffolder is looking
to capitalise on his success by fighting
for the European title and later by going
professional.
The British title is the culmination of
four years’ of work for Shane, who first
joined Britannia Kickboxing after going
to a class held at Sun Postal Sports &
Social Club, Watford.
