VILLAGE SHOCK
GREEN SIGNAL AHEAD FOR RAILTERMINAL
Nearly 5,000 people have signed a
petition urging Herts County Council
not to sell or lease the land earmarked
for the rail freight interchange near
Radlett.
The petition, on the county council’s
website, was set up after Eric Pickles,Secretary
of State for Communities and Local
Government announced before Christmas

Cathy Bolshaw, of Stop the Rail Freight
Exchange (STRiFE), said the news was
disastrous for the whole of South West
Herts.
