These learners from Wardia Primary School in Western Cape demonstrate grass mulching. < The Northern Cape workshop demonstrating how to setup an earthworm farm and feeding them with food waste from the kitchen. In the Cluster 2 workshops we learnt how to make earthworm farms. We also learnt about mulching to add nutrients to our gardens. Look after your plants in winter – make an organic natural blanket by mulching using wood chips or grass to cover your soil. This protects the plants from the cold.
