Different Types of Research
Primary Research
Is where someone has to start from the beginning by creating a questionnaire,
which collects data that hasn’t been collected yet? They could either create
questionnaires, surveys conduct interviews and observation.
Primary research is
your creating your own data for the secondary research but it is where the
researcher has the knowledge of what they will be doing the data surveys on.
Secondary Research
They look at the data that already exist e.
g.
uses resources, books, internet etc.
It
creates a summary or a synthesis of information about the data.
It is something
that comes after the Primary Research which is important as well as the
secondary research.
Qualitative research
This research takes in peoples opinions and how they feeling instead of asking
questions and showing them in numbers.
Research that has techniques in which
data are obtained from a relatively small group of individuals and analysed by
different people.
