RN to BSN Training Programs
The RN to BSN programs that are available allow professional registered nurses to further their
education and obtain the Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing, through full time, part time and
accelerated programs.
This type of degree program will typically take four years to complete,
although students can use their field experience towards their academic credits, which allows them to
complete the program in three years.
These programs are comprised of coursework that is designed
for experienced RN’s, which allows them to expand on the knowledge they already possess.
Aside from the nursing courses, a student will also be required to complete general education
courses for subjects such as English, sociology, nutrition and statistics.
A graduate of this program
will be prepared to perform advanced duties and will commonly assume supervisory roles that require
leadership skills, critical thinking and decision making.
