The Meaning Of Texture
You won t be playing Omaha for long before you start hearing players taking about texture,
specifically the texture of the flop, or the texture of the board.
Texture is an important concept in Texas
Hold em, but it may have an even greater significance in Omaha Hold em, since you re building your
hand from 9 cards, and not 7.
So, what is texture, and what does it mean to you? Quite simply, texture

kind.
More importantly, an uncoordinated texture means it would be difficult, or even impossible, for
any player to draw to a straight or a flush.
