“This recognition is very
special to me because I have

high school career.
It is nice to
be acknowledged for it,” said
Kokaska.
Sherlock, of Beverly, was
the only senior on the crosscountry team this past year and
she has also played basketball
and golf at Mount Assisi.
She
is a member of Math Team,
Spanish Club, Spanish National
Honor Society, and is a Spanish
tutor.
This is her second year on
staff of The Echo student newspaper and currently serves as a
senior editor.
She has been accepted to
DePaul University and Loyola
University Chicago, and is
awaiting a response from University of Notre Dame.
A major in chemical engineering is
planned.
“It is a great reminder that
all the late nights spent studying and doing homework were
worth it,” said Sherlock.
