Tips on Building a Ring for Some Backyard Wrestling
Find a suitable place to make the wrestling ring.
It should be flat and without any
obstructions.
Decide on the ring size next.
Professional wrestlers use an 18 x 18’ ring, but
you can make it smaller.
Prepare the following materials.
Requirements
Cement
Hooks
Waterproof material
4 posts
Saw
Sewing machine
Ropes
Tape measure
Plywood
Foam
Post digger
Step 1
Cut enough foam to fit the ring.
Make it 4 inches thick.
Put the waterproof material over the
foam.
If you want to conceal the entire foam, sew a few tarps.
This will keep the ring dry even
during the rainy season.
Step 2
Cut plywood and make it the same dimensions as the foam.
Put this below the foam.
Glue the
two together if you like.
Step 3
Dig holes for the posts at the four corners of the ring.
Make each hole 12 inches deep.
Insert
the posts in the holes.
Pack some cement or dirt in the holes to keep the posts standing up.
Apply foam over each of the posts.
