Medical lab assistants can be seen working in hospitals, private laboratories and clinics.

suggested by the name itself, the major responsibility involved in this job is to assist other lab
technicians and workers, which are generally laboratory technologists.
However, these professional also have to undertake their independent tasks and duties as
well.
The general responsibilities they have to take care of involves managing lab machinery,
preparing specimen samples, sterilizing equipment and other related tasks.
Nature of job responsibility:
Medical lab assistants or MLAs undertake regular lab tests and take care of specimens.
Their
main job is to fix tissue/blood specimens and samples on the slides.
On the technical side,
their job would include running laboratory machines, such as sterilizing (autoclave) equipment
