How to Develop Your Fashion
Portfolio For a Fashion Design Job
Interview.
Going for a Fashion Design Job Interview can be nerve racking, so here are
some helpful tips to prepare your portfolio well in advance.
It’s a good idea to start building your Fashion Portfolio months before you go
for a fashion job, so that you have a diversity of work to show, and your not
rushing to design something to show them the day before the interview!
Doing a Fashion Design Course can give you tips along the way to develop a
killer portfolio!
It’s a great idea to have at least 50 designs to show your future employer in
your portfolio.
This can be in the way of collections.
So 5 collections of 10
pieces for example.
Each Collection can have a different theme and different target market.
The thing to remember is you are often designing for different niches or
target markets.
You wont know who the target market for the fashion
company is, until you have the job interview.
