by fire
A house on Heath Way in Horsham
was damaged by fire on the evening of Friday, October 26. Fire and
rescue workers attend the scene at
11.16pm. 90 per cent of the roof was
damaged by fire and half of the first
floor was damaged by fire, heat, and
smoke. The cause is thought to be
accidental. Work continued through
the night at extensive salvage was
carried out.

More than 80 trees came down either blocking or partially blocking
some roads across west sussex.
The County Council has thanked the
public for listening to and acting on
the various warnings that were issued. There have been no reports of
injuries.
People are still advised to take care
on the roads and when on exposed
areas such as seafronts.
