A courageous Horsham boy who has been
treated for leukaemia is asking people to
clear out their wardrobes.

In a bid to raise £2.
5 million for vital research, TK Maxx and Cancer Research UK
have teamed up for the month-long Give Up
Clothes for Good initiative.
Christian’s illness came to light in 2008
when mum Ilze noticed bruising on his legs
and a small bleed under his skin.
Worried that it might be meningitis, she
took him to hospital.
A diagnosis of acute
lymphoblastic leukaemia came the following
day, June 19.
Ilze, her husband Adonis and Christian’s
older brother Sebastian, then five, were devastated.
Ilze said: “It was such a massive shock.
Not in a million years did I think it would be
leukaemia.
There was no history of cancer in
either of our close families.
”
