Glossary: Diction coach Singing in the rain www.joepinetreebush.com Rugged- not level or smooth and having rocks ragged- old and torn clothes or people who wear them. Rascal- a person who shows a lack of respect for other people and enjoys playing tricks on them. Sip- To drink sth. taking a very small amount each time Snifter- A large glass for drinking Brandy Seize- grab. Take sth in your hand suddenly and using force. Chew- To bite food into small pieces in your mouth with your teeth to make it easier to swallow. Chives- Thin leaves of a plant. They taste like onions and give flavour to food. Cheery- happy. Chunks- thick solid pieces that have been cut or broken off. Sometimes tongue twisters do not make any sense, either because of their whole meaning or because of a weird use of grammar.
