MILESTONES OF THE HISTORY OF SPORTS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture is a premier agricultural school in the Bicol Region and is situated in the province of Camarines Sur.
In the year 2000, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture expanded its institutional frontiers. It has integrated two (2) CHED-supervised institutions in the province of Camarines Sur and one of which is the CBSUA-Calabanga Campus.
One of the University thrusts is the promotion of “Sports for All” by providing a sports program based on the context of the national government.
The National Sports Development Program is totally governed by the Philippine Sports Commission as embodied in R.A. 6847 (Philippine Commission Act). This act mandates Filipinos to increase their participation in sports, to excel in sports performance and to promote national unity and solidarity through physical fitness and sports.
