"25 Clubs sign notice of dispute"
Newly elected Eastern Province Cricket President Malcolm Figg has vowed to restore unity at the union in the wake of a controversial annual general meeting at axxess St Georges in late October. No fewer than 17 clubs walked out of the meeting in protest at some candidates names being omitted from the list of nominees for office. Even as word spread that the disgruntled clubs were seeking legal advice on their options going forward, Figg said it was time for everyone to work together for the good of cricket in the region.
