As the earth moves under my feet and the house floats off its foundation, what
a strange summer it has been.
It is time to count our blessings and one of those
blessings is the unsung heroes who keep the home fires burning.
One person in
particular has given so much for the past five years.
Sue Puffenbarger, our newsletter editor, is stepping down from that position at the end of the year.
Editing
the newsletter is no small task.
Thank you Sue Puff from all of us, for your devotion, hard work and sense of humor!
As Summer winds down we gear up for Autumn with The Fall Hunt Test.
It will
be a double Junior, double Senior on September 17 and 18, at Rover’s Content
in Cheltenham (Brandywine), Maryland.
LRCP will sponsor a single Junior
test.
The Back Bay Knotts Island Retriever Club will sponsor the Sunday event.
