CONSTITUTION OF
LUTHERAN CONGREGATIONS IN MISSION FOR CHRIST
PREAMBLE
As members of the priesthood of all believers, called by the Holy Spirit to confess the
gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in its purity, we give thanks for God s continual
faithfulness and, by adopting this constitution, form this fellowship and association of
congregations, uniting to carry out God s mission in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Article 1 - Name and Incorporation

The name of this association shall be Lutheran Congregations in Mission for
Christ.
The official abbreviation of this association shall be LCMC.
For the
purpose of this constitution, LCMC hereinafter may also be designated as "this
association.
