Dear Tourists, Whether you’re coming to Epernay - Pays du Champagne for the first time, or are looking forward to returning, this guide is designed to help you organise your break in our region, recently honoured by UNESCO who recognized the universal character of the Avenue de Champagne and the historic hillside between Cumières and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. These few days will be filled with meetings with our Champagne producers in unique and often unusual locations; gastronomic delights prepared by our chefs and artisans; fun times at our different celebrations, events, and culture, arts and sports venues; unforgettable sightseeing amid our natural and urban heritage; and a well-deserved rest at our comfortable hotels, gîtes and guesthouses.
