In 1983, Poul-Jorn Lindberg, owner of an optical shop in Denmark, teamed with architect Hans Dissing to
design the first “AIR Titanium” eyeglass frame, and in 1984, LINDBERG Optik Design was born.
Their
rimless glasses are made from titanium, which is lightweight, flexible and strong - the perfect material
for eyewear.
As the recipient of more than 40 design awards, LINDBERG now has a Danish Royal
Warrant of Appointment, an honor granted to high-end companies that furnish goods to the royal
family.
