Villa Vianney, a beautiful independent living facility located in Cordova, TN was designed to
accommodate retired Diocesan Priests who have served in the Diocese of Memphis.
The residence was
dedicated by Bishop Steib in the spring of 2003 and named in honor of St.
Jean Marie Vianney (17861859), the patron saint of all parish priests.
Villa Vianney offers a supportive, comfortable homelike environment for our senior priests while
respecting their independence.
To this end, Villa Vianney contains eight private apartments, complete
with kitchen, bath/shower, living room-dining room, office (with private telephone and computer
connection), private garage and covered patio.
The entire facility is on one level and completely
handicapped accessible.
The apartment-style living gives priests the independence to prepare meals on the
