It was Bulldogs verses Bulldogs Friday night, as the Hampton Bulldogs hosted the 8-2A
conference game at Boyd Arnold
Stadium on Andy Anders Field
against the #9 ranked Strong
Bulldogs with a large support
of Bulldog fans present.
Team
captains’s James Buzzard and
Mitchell Williams lost the toss
and Strong elected for Hampton
to receive.
The Hampton Bulldogs were
pumped up busting thru the sign
wearing all black uniforms to the
song “Back in Black” by AC/DC.
As both teams took the field the
radar showed rain to the south.
Strong kicked off to Hampton with Zach Green making the
return out to the 40 yard line.
Brett Starr started off the drive
with a 22 yard carry down to the
38 yard line, giving the Bulldogs
a first down.
Second down was
a gain of 2 yards with LeAndre
