Well, you are probably not alone! Let us begin at the start. FFA and 4-H youth across the county ban together each year to support one of the largest project areas in Arkansas, Livestock Production. To begin, a youth must decide which animal between rabbits, poultry, cattle, sheep, goats, swine, etc. they wish to exhibit (or show). The exhibitions are typically done at county, district, and state fair but, as with any competitive event, there are opportunities for youth to display their animals at many different “jackpot” shows. Once the child decides which animal to display/exhibit, the fun begins!
