Elementary & High School Principals Retiring
Board members hire Sawyer, Sanders as replacements
It has been rumored for a while, and Tuesday night it became official. Elementary Principal Lillie Randall and High School Principal
Glenn Johnston will be retiring from their positions at the end of the
school year.
Following the regular business meeting held Tuesday night,
Hampton Board Members went into executive session where they
discussed resignations and hirings. When back in regular session,
they accepted the resignations of Randall and Johnston, along
with resignations from Regina Bethea, Lynn Nutt, Tara Hogue and
Deborah Green.
Superintendent Jimmy Cunningham recommended the hiring
of Tom Sawyer to replace Randall as principal of K-6 at Hampton
Elementary and Bryan Sanders as High School Principal. Cody
