IntroductionIntroduction
Incised multiple channel rivers as the Loire river (France) know environmental problems such as aggradation and colonization by pioneer vegetation of secondary channels.
These disturbances cause subsequent a rise of flood levels and a
decrease of biodiversity.
Understanding of the distribution of water and sediment fluxes in bifurcations between main channel and secondary channels constitutes a major issue for these fluvial system
