The History:
Equestrianism (Horse riding) is a
popular sport in countries like the
United States, the United Kingdom, and
Australia.
Horses are used in many
different competitions.
There are
different types of this sport:
· Show Jumping: is where a rider rides a horse over a set
course of horse jumps while being timed.
· Dressage: in dressage the horse and rider can also perform
a freestyle, which is also known as "Dancing on Horseback".
· Racing: tests the speed of a horse.
A racing is where only
horses of this breed can participate in galloping around a
track.
News event:
From July 28th to August 9th will be played in London the
equestrian events of the Olympic
Games (Olympics) in 2012.
The equestrian competition will take
place in Greenwich Park, the oldest
British royal parks, distinguished by
UNESCO as World Heritage.
The forecast of participants is 75
riders in Eventing (5 per National
