SMU’s Master of Laws for Foreign Law School Graduates is a 24 hour credit program completed in two or three semesters leading to the Master of Laws in Comparative and International Law (LL.M.). The program provides you with an understanding of the United States legal system, gives you a frame of reference for dealing with transnational business and legal interests, offers an appreciation of the role of law in national and international development, and equips you with the analysis and problem-solving skills needed to meet the complex demands of our world.
