Issues 17, 18 Ascension Feast We celebrate Thursday twice: Once on the Maundy Thursday on which the Lord has given us the Eucharist Sacrament and this day become a Lord’s Feast. The other Thursday is our Lord’s Ascension to Heaven Feast after He spent with His disciples forty days. And this Thursday is also a Lord’s Feast, the Ascension Feast. We mean with the Lord’s Ascension, His bodily Ascension. Because in His divinity, He is everywhere, He does not ascend nor descend.
