was a concentrated pastoral trip.
Some of the most significant
events taking place during it
were:
The Seminar of the Priests
of the USA and Canada.
159 hegomens and priests
gathered at that seminar as well
as 11 bishops (other than those
who were not able to come due
to private reasons).
In that priest gathering
the issue of homosexuals
were discussed, along with the
event of the ordination of one of
them as a bishop at the Anglican
church!! The meeting issued a
stateme nt that condemns
homosexuality in general
according to the teachings of the
Holy Bible and condemns the
ordination of homosexuals in
specific.
