Sister Professes First Vows in Guyana
Sister Roslyn Bacchus professed her first vows in Guyana on
Sunday, September 8 at St.
Pius X, her home parish.
Approximately 300 sisters, family members, friends and
fellow parishioners with whom she had worshipped and who
had nurtured her faith, joined in the joyous celebration.
After
Sister Roslyn pronounced her vows, Sister Julie Matthews,
president of the CCASA Community, addressed Sister
Roslyn, “Sister Roslyn, may our merciful and loving God
strengthen you that you may be true to your desire, and you
may offer with a joyful heart the sacrifice which these vows
represent!” Those gathered added a resounding “Amen.
”
