Sister Anna Mae Keeley, RSM, Gives Hope to Women Who are Homeless in Philadelphia As a caseworker at Women of Hope, a transitional housing program of Catholic Social Services, Sister Anna Mae helps women with serious mental health issues get connected to needed medical and psychiatric services with the hope of living meaningful lives. Together with program director Sister Maureen Crissy, RSM, and case manager Sister Eileen Sizer, RSM, and an administrative staff of three, they have built a community of care and compassion over the past 31 years. “Our ministry is grounded in the Gospel and Jesus’s message and the Catholic call to reach out to those who are poor and most vulnerable. No one is more vulnerable than women living on the street,” says Sister Anna Mae.
