Mercy Now – June 25, 2026 Newsletter for the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas Leadership message We would like to share with you some reflections that remain in our hearts following the Gathering of the Whole in Panama and St. Louis. We are sure that each of us carries memories, feelings, emotions, words, images and experiences that left an imprint on our hearts. Among the many experiences we shared, the moments of prayer and the voices we listened to with attentiveness and openness stay with us in a special way, especially the words of Sister Mary Pellegrino, who reminded us that we, the Sisters of Mercy, are called to be a sign of hope. Her words continue to resonate within us: “By relying on the Paschal Mystery of life, death and resurrection, you help our society heal from its practices of denial and illusion.”
