Introduction
“Mercy and justice shall meet…”(Ps 85).
In our day-to-day lives, we often struggle with a decision about whether
to be fair or to be compassionate in a particular situation.
Can we imagine that both can meet in our decisions, in
the way we treat one another, in our service? If we are truly just, we are also merciful; if we are compassionate, we
also bring justice to those who are sufering.
