Introduction to Assessment Tools
Educators teach, students learn, is how the theory of education works.
As a theory, one
needs to continually prove that it is working, and that is done through various types of
assessments.
In addition to the actual assessment, how one organizes, orchestrates and records
the assessment, is very important.
An assessment measures not only what the student has learned, but also how well the
instructor has presented the information.
Creating a toolbox of information to use helps the teacher
perform these tasks with up to the minute applications that are available online.
Two websites to
keep current on many of these items are: All My Faves (http://www.
allmyfaves.

20 (http://www.

The four categories of assessment tools investigated are: Quiz and Test Builders,
Collaboration, Reflection and Course Tracking.
Inside of the presentation, several applications in
each category have links to active web
