Convicts get
major cup boost
The Sydney Convicts rugby club have
received an important boost in their bid
forthe2012BinghamCup.
A sub-committee of the International
Gay Rugby Association and Board
(IGRAB) has voted 7-1 that Sydney host
the event, despite a strong bid by the
ManchesterVillageSpartans.
IGRAB president Alex Fallis, who is on
the sub-committee, voted for Sydney’s
bid.
The lone dissenting vote came from
arepresentativeofanEnglishclub.
The sub-committee will now report to
theIGRABboard.
