The new classification provides an upward movement in
the market: the IE1-class (formerly EFF2) will become the
average minimum, the old class EFF3 will be withdrawn
entirely , and there will be a new more efficient class "premium" (IE3) above EFF1 the old class high efficiency
(now IE2).
The efficiency of IE3 Motors is higher than the efficiency
of lower classes like IE2 and IE1 Motors.
However when
the power output of a motor becomes greater, the efficiency will also increase, and the differences between the IE
classes will become smaller.
Due to the IE changeover, the serie names of our
motors will be changed.
