ABSTRACT
To innovate and renew long established formative structures is one of the functions of
educational theory and practice.
Freire´s thought is a landmark and a stimulus for
innovative approaches to education.
One of his proposal refers to the necessity for all
the agents implicated in the educational process, to cooperate and contribute with their
initiatives to advancements in the construction of knowledge; and not so much resorting
for the purpose to the reproduction of traditional thought.
