For decades Autodesk has been consistently updating its AutoCAD product.
The package
now comes in many exotic flavours especially enhanced for different types of Architect or
Engineer.

Therefore although this review is for the basic no-frills AutoCAD 2010, all the points
made here are just as relevant to all the other packages based upon it.
