Recently I read about the lives
of Dietrich Bonhoeffer
and Oswald Chambers.

If you’re looking for men
who “walked the talk” of
faith and righteousness
look no further.
These
servants of God paid
dearly to own “…the
righteousness which is of
God by faith.
” Philippians
3:9 KJV
Bonhoeffer and
Chambers both knew
the secret of Christianity
isn’t the changed life but
the exchanged life.
They
learned God alone credits
righteousness to man
through the finished work
of Jesus Christ on the
cross.
“For God took the
sinless Christ and poured
into Him our sins.
Then,
in exchange, He poured
God’s goodness into us.
”
2 Corinthians 5:21 TLB
It isn’t obedience,
sacrifice or suffering that
makes me acceptable
to God, but the death of Christ.
Only as we individually identify
with Christ’s death at Calvary are
we freed from sin.
