We’ll explore this World UNESCO Heritage Site, the city Brazilians refer to as “the heartbeat of Brazil,” and experience the countryside as well. Understanding the complex and exponential impact of the transatlantic slave trade on this region will be at the crux of all educational, historical, and cultural excursions.
