12'' Perpendicular T-Bar Deck Grate Installation Instructions READ AND FOLLOW ALL ACCOMPANING GENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Modifying or altering grating without written direction from the Manufacturer can void the warranty STRAIGHT SECTIONS Always start at one point (corner) and add each additional grate in the same direction to come back to the starting point. Do not try to meet in the middle. IMPORTANT: The horizontal ledge where the grate will rest must be level and even. The minimum ledge is to be 1.5'' bearing surface x 1'' deep. Please be aware that if the grate is sloped, the ledge must also be sloped. Lay the first section in the gutter. Insert anchor, clip, and screw down as shown. Alternating sides, fasten down every 2 feet, or as specified. Check your job specification, some engineers require this to be done every foot. Do not hammer the section into each other.
