THE TBS BUSINESS SCHOOL CV CV CHARACTERISTICS • The CV is our “Business card”. • It is also a marketing tool: - Clear message (direct and concise). - Positive message (strengths). - Pleasant message (short and easily readable). • It should encourage questions that you want to answer. IMPORTANT RULES The CV must contain objective, quantifiable information, and should be: - Short (one page). - Coherent, avoid grammatical errors and maintain a coherent style. - Attractive and easy to read (short sentences and action verbs). - Clear and concise, avoid too many technicalities. It is a good idea to have another person review it. THE CONTENT OF THE CV It must contain the following sections, but they can be organised according to the information we want to highlight first: • Personal data - Name and surname - Address, contact telephone number, email address - Date of birth (age)
