Tuesday, September 10th 2019 – 9h – 12h (Room 404 Bosco) Seminar on Writing Qualitative Research Papers Presented by Professor Bob Scapens This seminar will explore the craft of writing qualitative research papers – with a particular focus on writing up case study research. The first part will discuss the issues that need to be considered in planning and writing a paper for an international research journal, including constructing convincing arguments, different forms of writing, and what is expected for a paper to be publishable. In addition, it will provide some practical advice and suggestions – derived from Bob Scapens’ experience in recent years commenting on papers for various people in variety of different universities. The second part will critique a specific paper, describe the review process, and provide examples of reviewers’ reports. The paper will be circulated in advance of the workshop and participants will be expected to
